I took our 2016 BMW 328i to Tom, after having taken it to a nearby bimmer place and was told that the only fix would be to replace the transmission for $8000 + labor. Guy at the other place actually told me I was lucky because price of BMW transmission had come down or it would have been $10,000. I asked if there would be any other way to repair, and was flatly told no. Had my car towed to Tom, and he spent time troubleshooting it with me. Had a 99 Silverado 4x4 with 4l60e transmission rebuilt and set up for towing, have 30k miles on it and still performing perfectly. They also rebuilt my transfer case which had a typical pump rub issue. Happy customer!

Transmission rebuild service was great and still running like new. Had my truck back on the road within one week.
First off, not many auto shops have a 5.0 rating. That in itself is an anomaly. My 20 year old truck that has some sentimental value to me finally needed its transmission rebuilt. 210k miles on the original transmission isn’t bad, but I knew the job wasn’t going to be cheap and it wasn’t something I had the time or patience to try to do myself.
