I cannot praise Dr Ehmke and his team enough. Their attention to detail and patient care exceeds all expectations. They are always quick to respond regardless if it is via email or phone call and of course in person. This second knee surgery isn't going as well as the first, but that is only because my body responded differently to the bandage adhesive. There was nothing that could be anticipated. Expertise across the Board from initial meeting to prep to surgery to rehab. Texts to help with recovery and rehab helped sustain the feeling of staying connected. Follow through was complete to the very end and then some. Presence is a highly valued currency for patients and I valued Dr. Ehmke’s very much.
I am absolutely shocked at how well I’m doing. The physical therapist at Illinois bone and joint in Mokena was amazed at the rate at which I recovered. Dr Ehmke and his wonderful team of caregivers couldn’t have been more compassionate and competent. Took great care of me from front desk to surgical team, and nurse practioner, Alyssa .
