I was approved for an apartment at 19 W 82nd St but then rejected after I asked for minor revisions to some absurd lease terms like "Tenant is responsible to make all repairs to the terrace or balcony at its sole expense regardless of the cause and whether or not existing prior to Tenant's occupancy." The broker Joe Gotham was unhelpful.
Discovered toxic black mold in the basement of 19 W 82nd Street, Apartment A1 when renting an apartment from Joe Gotham. We had to immediately vacate leaving behind thousands of dollars worth of furniture and search for a new apartment. The problem was caused by a cheap basement conversation. Joe and the owner where totally unsympathetic and dealt with their mold problem in an unprofessional manner. Potential renters beware
