I just saw Dr. Szabo for the first time. She is really knowledgeable and asks a good amount of questions. I also thought she seemed rushed, but I'm thinking it's the practice pushing her to see too many patients, as this has been the experience of several doctors in my family. Next time I will write out my list of questions to make sure she can cover it all.
We've been seeing Dr. Szabo for several years and even followed her to the new location. Unfortunately, I no longer feel like she's providing the kind of service and care I would like from a PCP. It takes forever to get an appointment, the office staff is not helpful and often rude, and appointments are more and more rushed. It's as though she no longer cares about helping and is robotically running through the motions to collect that paycheck. It's very disappointing.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Szabo. She is attentive, thorough, and communicates with you, the patient. I have seen her a couple of times now at the North Shore Immediate Care in Mount Prospect, IL. In between the physical visits, we had a teleconference. In between those, she answered messages via their system. In the past 4 years I have returned to the Chicagoland area, I have seen at least 5 doctors for the same ailments. I saw Dr. Szabo at the new Mount Prospect location and she went above and beyond for me. The wait time was nonexistent. My appointment didn’t feel rushed AT ALL!! The moment she walked into the room she made me feel super comfortable. She’s super down to earth! I’m gonna recommend her to everyone! Her personality is amazing. She listens really well and talks you through every procedure so you don’t feel in the dark about anything. She’s my go to doctor from now on.

It takes forever now to get an appointment with her! And so rushed! Barely able to get any questions out and she is up and out the door. Never used to be this way.
Szabo is encouraging. Szabo will refer you to a specialist but she don't read the specialist reports. Szabo doesn't pay enough attention to patient complaints until the problem is very serious. Szabo can't figure out complex ailments, so she does nothing. Szabo is not in the office enough.
She was the best but she stopped letting me see her or her Partners when I was sick and sent me to urgent care or emergency room.
Omg ! I can’t say enough about her. She’s funny , down to earth , can talk on anyone’s level. When it’s serious she can take it down a notch so it doesn’t come across like she doesn’t care.
