No one likes going to the gynecologist but going to Dr. Szabo’s office is always a good experience. Kay and Vicky are excellent and Dr. Szabo is very efficient and to the point! I’m always treated with kindness and respect.
RecommendedDr szabo and his nurses are amazing! I have never once felt awkward asking any questions because they are so supportive and give you straight answers without beating around the bush! Highly recommend any pregnant woman go here!
Wonderful Dr. All my pregnancies were complicated. And he not only to great care of me but my family too. Would highly recommend him. He has two nurses Kay & Vicky , so it’s nice that you don’t just feel like a number . You feel like a family

Dr. Szabo and his staff are amazing and so welcoming. I had to switch doctors at 25 weeks and it was a very smooth transition. He is very knowledgeable and calm in any situation. I highly recommend him and his very loving staff!

Dr Szabo not only quickly evaluated and came up with a plan for my complex medical condition, but explained every decision he made along the way. Some aren't as fond of his bedside manner, but I would rather have a confident, veteran physician who is very confident in his abilities and decisions than a hand holding, indecisive physician who's lack of prompt decision making mean more wait time to a result. Also,I had inpatient surgery and extended hospital stay, I was impressed at his aftercare.
Dr. Szabo's secretary and nurse violated HIPAA by announcing my full name to the waiting room immediately after discussing between them, in gory detail, the procedure I was there for that day. However, State College is a very bad environment for doctors, so the fact that Dr. Szabo offers an alternative to the large corporate environment is commendable. He needs to sound proof because the doors are closed for a reason and you can hear EVERYTHING from the waiting room at Dr. Szabo's office. :(
