Mike was great when we first met him. He seemed honest and trustworthy. He made a good first impression and acted as though he genuinely cared about his integrity and quality of work. After signing our contract with him, everything changed. The man has more tantrums than a toddler. Takes everything personally. Be on the lookout for faulty construction that can raise expensive issues in the future. We are faced with a damaged shower threshold and while removing the tile we found regular drywall and a piece of plywood formed the threshold. There isn’t a membrane, just tile applied to plywood! They should have used Greenboard instead of drywall and HardieBacker instead of plywood. My parents purchased a Syringa home in our neighborhood as well and found zero insulation above the kitchen. We built a custom home with Syringa Construction of Idaho. We could not have asked for a better experience! They were organized, knowledgeable and on time. They helped us stay within our budget and our questions were always answered quickly and thoroughly. It has been almost a year and we have not had any issues with our new home.
