Extremely predatory landlords—they primarily target students who need last minute housing, like international grads. They take advantage of vulnerable students, operate shady financial operations, drag their feet to provide critical maintenance, and leadership is rude and dismissive. Upon move in, the house had clearly not been cleaned between tenants, was full of garbage and construction debris, which SQL never rectified even after multiple complains. SQL is the most unprofessional housing company that we have encountered in the few years of living in Syracuse. Extremely unprofessional, their apartments are infested with mice and roaches, they do not fix maintenance issues in a timely manner and are extremely disrespectful, racist and rude to their BIPOC residents. Their people that work in their office are extremely inappropriate and unprofessional, they will gaslight you and overcharge you. Don’t rent with sql!!
