A few years ago I had left and right foot surgery here by my Podiatry Surgeon. Excellent care from the entrance to the exit. In ASU, the PCAs, RNs and Doctors were outstanding. Healthcare here is the way it should be EVERYWHERE🩺🩼 Melissa B.
My father had total knee replacement done at Syosset hospital ( Dr. William Walsh) in May 2025. The care he received was beyond our expectations. Hospital staff (front desk , pre-op nursing , post -op nursing, Physical Therapist and all other staff) was very professional and caring. My father (87 years old ) is telling everybody that he received best care of his life at this hospital and is very thankful to Dr. walsh and the team.
Too bad I can’t rate 0 stars. Worst hospital on Long Island. Never takes the patients seriously and I heard nurses talking about patients behind their backs
DO NOT GO TO THE ER AT SYOSSET HOSPITAL. “Staff” is beyond rude and in no rush to help anyone. I wouldn’t come here if my life depended on it. They had us waiting in a dark hallway after waiting for 2-3 hours in the waiting room. They could’ve told us to go somewhere that has a specialist but no staff likes to play games and waste time while the patient is clearly IN PAIN. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
i had knee surgery a few days ago. staff was pleasant. my issue was WHY did i have to go to the hospital to have blood pulled and an ekg. thank god i had just had an ekg done which was still good. i kept asking why i had to go there and then go to see my primary doctor for the clearance. got all these bull answers, i.e. they will ask questions (my doctor knows everything about me) the it was i would be swiped for Mercer (never got swiped) actually the nurse who examined me if you can call it that asked a few questions, anoth... read more
