Very disappointing experience with Synergy Spine & Orthopedic Surgery Center. My ACL surgery was scheduled for March 18. I took time off work, arranged childcare, and fully prepared. The day before surgery, it was canceled without any notice—I only found out after calling. When I went in asking for an explanation, I was wrongly accused of “threatening” staff just for asking about out-of-network anesthesia charges. Dr. Kassa is great. He has amazing bedside manner and explains things in great detail.
They gave my daughter a report time of 12:45pm for a procedure we were told was a 10 minute procedure. We arrived 10 minutes early and waited am hour in the waiting room. Now we have been sitting in pre-op for almost an hour and a half! Over two hours and they still haven't started the procedure! Then the front desk closes while people are still waiting family to come out of surgery! Oh but hey there's a phone number you can call if you need to reach the staff that is back in surgery.
