Just saw the news 8 broadcast about the $ 400.00+ charge on a $50.00 device 700 percent mark up. No wonder insurance cost are going sky high

I took my son to Legacy Urgent Care late at night where we discovered he had a broken foot after a soccer game. They gave us a walking boot and I recieved a bill for the walking boot from a company called Synergy Medical Systems based in Oregon. The bill was deceitful as it showed that I owed $129 in coinsurance. I looked up the walking boot and it sells from Walmart and other Medical Equipment Providers for $50.
