This is the worst bank I’ve ever been to. We went to try to cash my husband check first off let’s start with. They wanted to look at us like we didn’t even belong in there. Synchrony has terrible customer service and harmful practices toward their customers. They are inflexible and offer no recourse even if they make an error. Absolutely awful experience with them!!

Have tried to close my account so many times I can't keep track. They just never close it. Very frustrating. Not a quality company.

Had my account cancelled without warning and without explanation. I called customer service to get an answer with no luck. I paid off the account the next month. 4 months later I get a bill for interest. I call customer service again to see if I can just pay the original interest fee and was told interest is a valid charge, you have to pay the first interest payment plus the interest charges from the last 3 months on the original interest charge.
