Dr. Hilmi is a knowledgeable and thorough neurologist who takes the time to listen and explain things clearly. The office at Synapse Medical Care is clean and well-organized, and the staff are courteous and efficient. I appreciated that he didn’t rush the visit and was very methodical in evaluating my symptoms. He ordered the necessary tests (including EMG, EEG, imaging) and gave me a better understanding of my condition and next steps. Highly recommend Dr. Huq. She listens, lays out a plan, your options, makes sure you understand, and answers all questions. Finally gave me an answer after 2 years of struggling with wrong endocrinologists. I’ve visited twice and the wait time is not too bad and I’ve managed to schedule appointments within a few weeks
I’ve been coming here for a year now. Both Dr. Hilmi and Dr. Huq have helped me tremendously. Dr. Hilmi, the neurologist, actually listened to my concerns and did all types of testing to properly diagnose me. Dr. Huq, the endocrinologist, also actually listened to all my concerns and also did a blood test (with sooo many blood tubes ) to diagnosis me correctly after arguing with my other doctor for so many years that what I’m feeling is not normal.
