Working with Meg Mulroy has been both incredibly rewarding and challenging! She uses distinct unconventional modalities and approaches sessions in a directional yet autonomous way. She skillfully balances a fine line between emotional/ experiential validation while challenging distorted cognitive processes. She ensures that I can internally access and respond with my own input, requiring me to diligently take a moment to think instead of defaulting to avoidance.
It's been two years now that I've been meeting with my therapist Jake, and I appreciate him so much! He is incredibly thoughtful, supportive, inquisitive, caring, patient, and open-minded. I like how he offers insights from various therapeutic methodologies and intersectional perspectives. He has helped me navigate lots of changes in my life, offered coping strategies, and has been a steady source of support for me.
