Our Daughter has always struggled with school. It's just not her things. We finally gave in and got her some tutoring. She started at the end of her 7th grade year and worked through summer and fall of her 8th grade year. She's normally a 2.4 or 2.5 GPA, we just received her report card and she had a 3.1! I couldn't be more proud of her. She has worked so hard on her school and it's showing. And she had found books like she likes to read! Couldn't be happier with the results we have seen.
My daughter struggled with reading all throughout elementary school. We fought for 4 years before the school finally put her on an IEP at the end of her 6th grade year. I signed her up for tutoring at Sylvan in the beginning of her 7th grade year which was the fall of '23. She goes twice a week to the satellite office in Delphos, but she's also been to the Lima office a few times.
