This place is all about taking money from you don't sign up kids here you will regret it Had to speak to Adriene about my refund and acted very childish so now I have to go through my bank for a dispute and fighting to get my refund back

Sylvan has been such a lifesaver… my daughter was struggling with math and since signing her up for tutoring, we’ve seen amazing progress. My daughters’ confidence has improved! But most importantly, she is seen - the teachers here at Sylvan know my daughter better than her actual teacher at school. The director Adriene is so welcoming and helpful. The tutors are amazing. Miss. Kali is so sweet and helpful! We re-enrolled our daughter so a second round of tutoring - that’s how amazing it is.

Sylvan Learning en Downey ha sido la mejor decision que he tomado para ayudar con la educacion de mis hijos. Desde el dia de mi orientacion, senti el enfoque practico que estaba buscando. Los intructores estan bien educados y son minuciosos en sus habilidades de ensenanza. Mis hijos estan en el "Spectrum" con autismo y TDAH. I have been hearing about Sylvan learning Center for many years. Some good experiences and Some Bad. So it took me some time to reach out to them. I called the Downey Location and Spoke to a Lady by the name of Adriene, who gave me all the information and had me come in... When my children and I arrived I was very impressed and my Kids got excited... In just a few short months at Sylvan, my son has made more progress than I thought was possible in the span of a year. He is a kindergartner who was assessed as having pre-K academic skills. But in less than 3 months, he has met almost all of his goals, and soon he will start working on first grade academic skills. All of the teachers and staff at Sylvan have been so supportive, patient, and kind. I’m so grateful that I brought my son to Sylvan. It was one of the best decisions I ever made.
