Buyer Beware: Our very stressful Experience with a Previously Scrapped RV purchase. In September 2023, we unknowingly purchased a consigned Fifthwheel from Sylvan Lake RV that had previously been written off as “scrapped for parts” due to rodent infestation. This designation was confirmed by Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI) and Alberta Transportation in 2025—rendering the RV uninsurable, unregistrable, untowable and almost worthless. Sylvan Lake RV has been amazing for our first motorhome purchase. Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff made the experience very pleasant! The dealership is clean and they also cleaned our motorhome well for the pickup. Mike was our salesperson and we thoroughly enjoyed working with him, cannot recommend more.
My wife & I recently purchased a 2018 American Coach. The team from Brian, Dave & Tyler (in service) has been nothing but fantastic to deal with. Their professionalism & support made our decision to purchase the right one. We had a few issues with the coach post purchase & they dealt with them immediately. We even enjoyed the pizza lunch on Fridays! Fantastic group.
