Amazing clinic. The Pelican location is clean, the medical team is always caring and professional, front desk staff is friendly and gets things done promptly. If you can’t get a doctor here I recommend a Nurse Practitioner because they’re truly amazing. I have only had great experiences here! Thank you Sylvan Family Health.
I am extremely disappointed in the lack of support and unprofessionalism at this clinic. I required essential paperwork for my employer to return to work, only to be told it could take up to 6 weeks. When I explained that this timeline was not feasible for my employment and that I would need to seek a second opinion or assistance elsewhere to meet my deadline, the staff’s response was incredibly unprofessional. Dr Taylor is a wonderful doctor and has been my doctor since the 90’s. 5 stars for her because she’s the best I’ve seen across 2 provinces. But the front desk staff here I’ve had nothing but problems with. When I came back to the clinic after many years in bc, I was using my bc health care. They still had my old obsolete Alberta health care number from childhood in their system. Absolutely ridiculous how hard it is to get ahold of these guys. When you do your on hold for more time. 2 weeks wait time for appointments. Always dealing with medical students, not doctors, they have way to many patients and dont seem to genuinely care about the people that come to them for help.
They keep texting on a scheduled appointment CONGRATULATIONS you are confirmed for this appointment !! What does that mean???? Why HOW stupid is that!!
