This was a truly magical experience, we got a table right in front of the window and got to people watch while we ate some absolutely divine fried green tomatoes. The fish was also wonderful, would definitely go again, like every time.
We stopped by Sylvian on a Monday night as a walk-in and ended up having a really great experience, thanks in large part to our server, Hannah. From the start, she was warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to, which made us feel comfortable right away. When we had a few questions about the menu, she was very knowledgeable and gave helpful recommendations. Beautiful place. Watch closely for the entrance—it’s a small sign and then a walk down a long dark hall to a lovely garden patio. I sat at the bar and Ricky was friendly, attentive and helpful. Get the spicy crab and dumplings :)
Amazing atmosphere and the food was delicious! The manager “C” treated us like royalty and reserved the best seat in the house and personally delivered our meal to our table. Anyone visiting New Orleans must dine here and experience the food, music and wonderful service!
