Sykesville Tae Kwon Do is a fabulous, family friendly martial arts studio! One of my children took lessons for 10 years, and received his black belt. My other child is currently taking classes, and on his way to his black belt. Owners/staff are very supportive of their students and it's obvious that they care about them greatly. Students leave Sykesville Tae Kwon Do as confident and respectful individuals. I would not recommend. After signing up basically the entire family to every program they offer and attending for over one year, husband first became discouraged with inconsistencies and lack of structure. Kids then became frustrated with owner's giving preferential treatment to certain customers as far as belt test rules and promotions. I would like to share my feelings about Sykesville Tae Kwon Do Academy. I would like to begin by saying that the staff, Master Bun Huor, Ms. Kelly Patten, and Mr. Ralf Rogall in particular, are truly amazing. Not only as instructors, but people as well. They are considerate and patient of others. They have taken my son and molded him into a self-confident, respectful, and more positive individual.
