We(for a 10 yr old) have been seeing Dr. Manzoor(for for 8 months and he has been great. He is a good listener and is kind and non judgemental. His staff, (front office, nurses, prior auth team) are hard workers, get the job done, are quick to respond to messages, and will fight with insurance companies on the patients behalf. I highly recommend his team at Wellspan Philhaven!
If I could leave no stars, I would. Do not see this man, do not take your child to this man. I began seeing him when I was 15. I am now 18 and have been diagnosed with Borderline Personality disorder for over a year by my therapist. I accepted the decision, but Dr Manzoor repeatedly asked me if I felt as if I truly had it or not. Aren’t you supposed to be the one determining that? I am now seeing a new provider.
If I could give him less than 1 I would. He doesnt listen to you at ALL! My sister has been begging him to get my niece help for years inpatient somewhere and he just dismissed her everytime with some dumb excuse. Well she is 16 now and almost ended her life. Shes in the PICU in a medically induced coma on a ventilator!
Good psychiatrist but when I had reservations regarding prozac, he insisted that it would be good for my child who is now not on prozac anymore because of the negative side effects. Child would like a different psychiatrist.
