I saw Dr Syed years ago when he practiced outside of Cleveland. He is an awesome Dr and I haven't been able to find a comparable replacement. I walk out of other Neurology offices feeling sicker and morose. I always walked out of Dr Syed's office feeling empowered, and likely to continue walking (I have MS).
Absolutely terrible! Tanvir Syed is more about disabling a patient rather than getting them on the road to recovery. This doctor AND his office cannot complete basic prescription renewals and other required forms. DO NOT waste your time with this doctor. His license should be suspended!
fair-he never followed up to exsplain about test results about MRI Results ,and when I had problems ,he didn't want to make time to see me right away due to being to busy and was told that I had to wait until Aug.1st.2018
I was referred to Dr Syed by my primary care physician. After submitting questionnaire about my health regarding the residual CVA effects, he stated I never had a stroke at that time he felt the only thing wrong with me was that I had carpal tunnel. Dr Syed gave me about a 10-minute assessment in his office. I reiterated to him the week in the hospital, the referral, supporting documentation, the numerous I MRIS, etc. He then stated to me again that he felt that I just have carpal tunnel.
It is true about the wait time when you go se Dr. Syed, but he is so good at what he does that it is worth the wait.
My husband had an appt with Dr. Sayed. We waited an hour to see him. My husband was very aggravated by this and let the staff know and the doctor. The doctor explained that he had taken on the patients of 3 other doctors, therefore causing the delay. He said it was the system that was causing the delays, not him personally. I've run into this with every specialist we've been to. The doctors wear themselves very thin. We do like Dr. Sayed as a doctor.
Great first experience, he drew out all the possible options and recommend reasonable treatment. Definitely good a good overall vibe from the doctor.
Dr Syed is brilliant. He is caring, kind and explains things well.
The last time I had an appointment, I waited one hour and 20 minutes before he walked in to the door - for all of about 2 minutes. He did not even apologize for keeping me waiting. His arrogance leads him to believe that WE are there for HIM, not the other way around. I am in the process of shopping around for another neurologist. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Syed to anyone. He also needs to move the waiting room chair AWAY from the desk window, to enable privacy with patients checking in/out
