I was referred here by a bunch of other moms who’s kids are on the spectrum and I can see why. From the moment you walk in, the girls at the front desk are so kind and helpful. I honestly can’t go on enough on how sweet and caring the staff was. They tried to explain what they were going to do but my son wasn’t having it and they examined him and also did a cleaning. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Sycamore Smiles! My daughter recently needed a tooth extraction, and Dr. Marissa and her entire team went above and beyond to make what could have been a scary experience feel safe and manageable. Dr. Marissa was incredibly patient, kind, and compassionate throughout the entire procedure. She never rushed my daughter, stopped whenever she needed a break, gave additional numbing when she was uncomfortable, sang to her, cheered her on, and truly met her where she was emotionally. Dr. Marisa was fantastic with my nervous 3 year old. She was kind, patient and personable. Shannon the dental assistant was also fantastic with helping entertain my younger son who tagged along to the appointment as well. Would highly recommend both of them and I’m happy that we now have found a lifelong dentist for our family!
