About this business
It was 1952 when two World War II veterans from OH moved to KY and opened their first dealerships. With help from their father, Sam and Bill Swope opened in E-Town and Winchester. Both stores sold Dodge, Plymouth and Desotos. In the early 60’s, they expanded into Louisville where Sam moved his family while Bill took up operations in Elizabethtown. After traveling from Indiana to and test drive a 2023 truck we found advertised online through Carfax and has communicating with dealer on time we should arrive from Indiana. When we arrived at the truck was there ready to test drive. But the fuel gauge was on EMPTY!! so all we got was to drive around the block ! And the dealer had even taken to tire store to have truck lifted up and bigger tires put on .That was never disgust when first called about.
