Great shop—fixed my problem quickly. Super nice staff.
On a bike ride to La Jolla cove from PB with my gf and her back tire tube blows out. We limped it into bird rock hoping there might be a place to get it fixed and lo and behold there’s Switchback Velo. Guy was super nice and had it fixed in 10 mins for a super reasonable price. Saved our day out. Thanks!

Switchback is the kind of local bike shop you wish you had your entire life. Max, Corey and the gang are immensely knowledgeable, experience, and enjoyable to chat with. They rebuilt a wheel for me to fix my broken freehub in what felt like 15 minutes. The shop has a convenient location and is a great spot to hang at. If you're in the market for any kind of bike repair, new gear, fitting, or anything related to bikes, you should go to Switchback!
