I love all the office staff and doctors at this practice. Dr. Payne and Chelsi have taken such good care of me through many highs and lows of multiple pregnancies. I trust Dr. Payne's expertise and all the nurses at BUMC speak so highly of him. He is a kind and compassionate doctor as well, and I always feel very heard by him.
I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Payne -- his patience and his ability to listen to his patients and actually care about them is the only reason I was able to have a successful VBAC. The office staff is always very courteous, and yes sometimes you have to wait a while because he gets called to the hospital, but you have to understand that babies don't take into account office hours when they want to be born. He's absolutely worth the wait if you're trying for a VBAC!
Cannot recommend this group of doctors enough! Dr. Uremovich is the absolute best - she’s so knowledgeable but very personable, too. She advocated so much for me when I delivered my son back in June 2025.
Dr. Payne was great but the office staff was rude, rescheduled and then cancelled our appointments twice for my 40 week pregnant wife. Waited over an hour for a 5 minute appointment. Unfortunately going to have to wait until my wife goes into active labor as an emergency before the hospital can see us for our breech baby girl, because they can't fit us in for an appointment to schedule the c section.
