Obviously changed hands recently. I used to live in Woodstock and now in Rockton. I always make it a point to stop here when I am in town. Stopped in Wed. and I immediately knew something was different. Not happy with my 4 sweet rolls, smaller and Bavarian cream—what cream? I heard from a friend that it changed hands, he won’t go back either. Won’t be back. ☹️
Moved away from Woodstock about 60 years ago. Remembered my Dad bringing home potato bread from a bakery on the Square so I went in and asked if it was the same store from 60 years ago. It is! The potato bread is still wonderful as was a Long John I bought.
I absolutely love this bakery. My family has been coming to the Woodstock bakery for over 30 years. All our birthday cakes have come from here. My sister had them make her wedding cake also. I have continued the tradition in my family and can't wait until birthdays just to get the cake. I get nothing but compliments on the cakes they make. They do a fantastic job decorating and I wouldn't go anywhere else.
The customer service was wonderful when ordering a custom cake! They were so helpful and made sure the cake was exactly what I wanted. On top of the service and look of the cake, the taste was amazing. Fresh strawberries and whipped cream frosting, yum! Thank you for making my boyfriend's birthday special.
