The hotel at first glance seems to confirm the questionable ratings here and there. But it‘s definitely worth giving it a try- the rooms are very well taken care of! They’re clean, well maintained and spacious. The entire hotel smells good and the staff is friendly and helpful. The ratings seem to reflect mainly the old building substance and hallways / exterior appearance, where renovations are due - but this would not render a stay any better! So- go for it- you won‘t regret it!
The bed felt like a pile of springs covered with a sheet, horribly uncomfortable.
Disappointing and Dirty Stay - Avoid This was, by far, the dirtiest hotel of our entire trip. As numerous other guests have reported, the drainage in the sinks and showers is extremely poor. The air escaping from the drains also carried a very strong, foul odor. This appears to be a long-standing issue and one that will likely continue. The absolute low point of our stay was an encounter with a cockroach in our room.
