I realize it's been 10 years but, they overlapped from east to west, everyone in MO knows most storms come from the west. I already have leaks and they told me if I put metal over shingles, it gives more insulation. What it did was make the roof where it can't breath, therefore more moisture spots on my ceiling. So after only 10 years I have to replace my roof again. I gave 2 stars because I did get a roof.
