Nothing more than predatory lending. Keep calling my business even though I did NOT submit any application, only just looked at what loan and terms they were offering. am a small business owner in CT. I pulled the trigger on a loan with swift about 2 years ago. Now mind you I never missed a single payment or was a single day late. Well my 1st loan is getting to the end and they sell me on another loan. We took out a loan for $36K with 18% interest to pay back in 52 weeks at $818 per week. (We didn't qualify for a higher loan.) Everything was good until we decided to sell some of our equipment a month later. That is when they demanded to be paid in full for loan and interest. I would not use Swift again. Originally I had contacted them to pursue a non-traditional LOC, but their interest rates and pay back terms have put more stress on our business than have helped it. If you need cash go to a traditional factoring company who will help you with much better terms and have better repayment terms. They are sharks looking for prey.
Swift Capital is probably a fair lender but they are totally dishonest about one thing. They say they will "beat any offer" and that is not the case. They will only beat the offers they want to beat. I received an offer from American Express Merchant Services and it was WAY better than any
I Really appreciated the fact that swift put their best foot forward right up front. I have used another finance Co. previously with whom my repayment history was perfect and they didn't offer anywhere near as good a rate as Swift until after I could show them Swifts offer, and yet another finance Co. told me that Swifts offer was nothing more than a bait and switch, and to call them back when that happens, and I must say that put a doubt in my mind.
