Two weeks before Christmas 2025, I get a TEXT from SWGI on a Sunday; Christmas/Hanukkah greetings? No, it simply says that for a procedure more than a full year ago (12/24), I OWE $1240.00 . That my co-pay a year ago, 12/24 can go to that balance. I never received a bill from SWGI nor from my Insurance Company. Only a text, a year after the service rendered. Blame my insurance? Receptionist threatened to cancel my appointment if I didn't pay them nearly $700 up front, even though my insurance covers the procedure. Insurance claim came through, they charged the insurance company nearly $6000 for a simple 15-minute procedure. I was only responsible for the $45 copay, which I also paid. Now they have hundreds of dollars of my money that I did not owe them. Billing dept would not return my call. They are getting sued. Strongly advise against doing business with this place, horrible experience.
Beware of what they tell you your copay is. I was given an copay amount of $630.00 because my procedure was diagnostic. A month later I received a bill for another $800.00!
