We’ve been coming here since my daughter first started receiving vision care, and we’ve always had a great experience. Dr. Kovarik and the entire staff work so well together, listen to my concerns, answer all my questions, and include me in decisions about my daughter’s care. The office is also very kid-friendly and welcoming, and I love that they provide helpful information throughout the office so you know what to expect. I had a bad experience at this place. Initially, I took my son to Dr. K for a consultation. She assured me that everything was fine with his vision, but in the medical history, she put a diagnosis of Myopia. This was very confusing for me, so I went for a second opinion with Dr. Nelson and to my surprise, the diagnosis was the complete opposite of Myopia and very positive. Dr. Kovarik did surgery on my 3 year old son's alternating esotropia (crossed-eyes). So thrilled that he can see clearly now and does not bump into things anymore.
Dr. Nelson is so incredible! It is rare to find a doctor like her who truly takes the time to explain everything. From the moment she enters the room she captivates the kids with her fun and caring personality. We are extremely grateful to be seen by her. We have seen 5 different eye doctors in the past none compare to Dr. Nelson. The compassion and kindness she gives each patient is something you can’t teach. She needs a raise!
