Always a fun time as long as you aren't looking to eat good , warm food. Service is lacking and need a faster turnover in the kitchen. Bar service is OK. Music and view is great! I go there often but no longer order food. Hopefully once the new owner works out all the issues, it will be the perfect place to go to eat as well.
We went yesterday for lunch after the Country Living Fair. Got there a few Minturn after 1pm, wasn't too busy. took probably over 5 minutes for someone to even greet us and another 10 or so to get a water and iced tea. We ordred our food and was about 45 minutes after that still no food. We left. Most awful awful service ever. was excited to finally get out there for a meal but won't be going back there. Horrible service.
The place was the most crowded I have ever seen it. The day was beautiful and the band, Suitcase Murphy, was terrific. Apparently, whatever they are doing to draw customers is definitely working for them, but the management has to step up their systems to equal the crowd. When we were told that the wait for food was 2 hours, we left to go eat elsewhere and came back when we were done. I went last night with my coworkers for dinner. There were 6 of us at the table. Took forever for anyone to even come over and give us menus. Then another 20 mins to order our drinks. We ordered our food maybe 30 mins the appetizers came out. Then when our meals finally came, they didn't bring two of our orders. They said oh well be right back with them couldn't carry it all on the tray. 30 mins go by with no one coming to check on us and still two of us haven't got our food. Love this river deck bar. Great atmosphere. Awesome staff and enjoyable live entertainment. All around great experience!÷!

Great idea but the service is bad. They just aren't nice to the customers.
Great time. Would be nice if they had drink specials on the tables outside.
