I’m usually happy with this place but I took someone who’s never been and wanted them to experience being by the river with the live music which was great however, the service sucked. I got there at 8:45, immediately ordered food (to which we were sharing) and then wanted to order a frozen drink but they were out so I didn’t order anything else but a water and was then approached by our waitress 25mins later still with no food in hand but asked in an extremely rude manner if we “were ordering anything else because she’s bein... read more
great place for any occasion.
Have had many excellent experiences here all now overshadowed by extremely poor one Saturday when 4 friends) came for dinner around 6 pm. Venue collected $5. cover charge per person at the street entrance before directing you to on-steet parking without mentioning the 3 hour wait for dinner that you found out about after walking in. We put our name on a list and were told we were 5th for first available. When checking back in after about an hour we were 17th. looking at 2-3 more hours. very nice and respectful servers.
I had the open faced roast beef two weeks ago it came out cold they reheated it so it was eatable but it was the worst tasting food I ever had as close to dog food . We were there again yesterday as we were a year ago when Don't Call Me Francis played. It was so wonderful that their opening song was the Star Spangled Banner. I looked all around me during the song and was thrilled that EVERYBODY was standing for it. The band was great, as usual, and the fireworks were beautiful. We've been there many times, 4 times so far this year, and it has the BEST SUNSETS over the river.
