Staff was nice but experience was awful went to ER due to I got my finger chopped by a axe bleeding n hurting. I waited 3 hours in waiting room three other people left without seeing Dr. The last person that left told me she was there for 5 hours and ain't been seen. I left to go somewhere else n got stitches only there for two hours so people beware if your seriously hurt don't go to this hospital drive a little further to a better hospital. I will never go back to this hospital I will drive to knoxville if I ever get hurt ... read more
I took my husband to Sweetwater Emergency Room on June 27, 2024, the staff, nurses and doctor was excellent. I highly recommend this hospital.
5 Stars for the superstars at Sweetwater Hospital. I am so grateful for the exceptional care they gave my father this past week. Dr. Bowman, Dr. James, the house supervisor, and the nursing staff on the second floor diagnosed the problem quickly, performed surgery that evening, and provided the expert and exceptionally compassionate care he desperately needed. They treated me great, I could never ask for better care or more intelligent staff. I was very pleased with the nursing staff. the dietary department did very well also the food was good. I don’t have a bad thing to say about the entire experience.
I have been shown more care while being an inpatient here than any other hospital in the surrounding areas. That includes Blount Memorial, UT, and even Erlanger. The staff and nurses have been some of the kindest people I have met. If you need to be hospitalized this is Definitely the place you want to be at. While I was at Blount Memorial Hospital they treated me like garbage and I was sick and very hurt. Sweetwater stepped up to the plate and went out of their way to be kind to me.
