It is the only hospital located in Monroe County which has a population of approximately 45,000.

This hospital will miss code a visit to one of their doctors and they will double charge a visit. They will not communicate with your insurance company. Basicly, a 5th rate hospital. 4/30/24 - Again this hospital and staff get a "0" for communication, "0" for knowledge and a "0" for care. Dealing with sweetwater Hospital and the staff has been a very stressful experience for me. Been stuck in the ER with a family member that overdosed to have DR dukes come in and used Google while consulting with us. This hospital is joke when it comes to the emergency dept
I was at the lab this morning at 6:30 am for a blood draw. I did not have the correct paperwork which was an oversight on my part. SONYA was the most helpful person! She went above and beyond so that I could get the blood draw and avoid another fasting day. She is a perfect fit for the medical field. She truly wants to help her patients.
I have been very impressed with the Sweetwater Hospital ! I have not had one instance that I can say a negative thing. Every single person I have encountered from my doctors, nurses, assistance, lab tech, and housekeeping, have been exceptionally nice and taken great care of me.
Staff is very nice and very polite. They have answered my calling out in a very timely manner.
