I used to love this place and their food. I have recommended it to so many. But now they have upped their prices by at least $7 a plate (making their take out close to $20 a plate!) and then when they said our food would be ready in 45 mins, it took over an hour and a half for our food. They also had us pay before telling us about the delay, so there was no way for us to just leave. This is a shady business practice. RecommendedThe food is amazing. There is no better thai food in grand Rapids that I know of. The thai basil chili and yellow curry chicken are my favorites so far.
I've always loved the food at Sweetie Thai, but I won't be going back after tonight. After ordering, we find out that they've raised the price of their dinners by $7 each (with no changes to portions). Their website doesn't reflect the change, so beware dinners are now $17.95. Too much for takeout.
I’ve tried many places and Sweetie Thai has the BEST Pad Thai around!!

Simply amazing � thee best food we’ve had in a long time! Amazing prices, fresh, flavorful, & the service is through the roof! We like spicy & a 3 was that & more! Place has gone way downhill. No amount of fancy lobby can hide bad food and bad business practice. Wifes food was cold and chicken not cooked well
