Salad lettuce was crunchy in a gritty in way like there was sand in it, so I looked carefully in the salad and saw these bugs in my salad!!! At first ai thought ok maybe they are seeds but they easily crumbled in my hands then I took this picture on the table and AI confirmed they were not seeds and bugs because they had segments!! Sweetgreen hits the spot for me every time! The Montvale location is aesthetically pleasing, clean, and delicious. You can taste the freshness in every bite. Great vegetarian options available, with plenty of variety of proteins and toppings to mix it up. The staff are very friendly and helpful! I usually get take-out, but would love to dine in soon!
Zero stars if I could. Sweetgreen consistently messes up my order, and it’s beyond frustrating. Whether it’s missing ingredients, wrong dressings, or poorly prepared items, they never seem to get it right. For a place that promotes fresh and customizable meals, their attention to detail is severely lacking. I’m done wasting my time and money here.
I did a mobile order 10 minutes before closing, which had a couple of downsides. It arrived fairly quickly and was quite delicious, but the food was slightly stale, to be expected after sitting out all day. The main problem was the portion size, I went to the store in Manhattan in person and got a full portion, but when I did a mobile order I only got about half a portion. This bothered me a good amount for I had paid 20 dollars for this meal.
