Having Celiac Disease is difficult as it is, but finding delicious gluten free food is even more difficult. This restaurant hits the spot. I have not tried one thing that I have not liked at Sweet Yams, everything is delicious. They're also extremely friendly and welcoming. I'm glad I was able to find this gem, in a neighborhood, I spent many of my childhood days.

We could smell the food while walking up. I started to get excited from that. My 22 yo son is not thrilled with my healthy food choices. He grumbled the whole time..... well....until he got his food. He was pleasantly surprised. It was amazing. They even had dessert that fit into my diet. Do not hesitate to try this place.

My hubs & I really enjoyed our meals today. I had the chicken & gravy, and he enjoyed the vegan chili. I told him I hadn’t had such a delightful meal-where I left feeling satisfied but not full, or like I’d over done it-in a long time. And! I don’t usually opt for gravy, but it’s a must with the chicken. Topped off w/ cold Kombucha & an adorable delectable sweet potato muffin—Sweet Yams served up the perfect meal.
