I’ve been dealing with breastfeeding issues since my son was born. I went to the lactation consultant from the hospital and she told me that my son had a cleft pallet and referred me to my pediatrician. My pediatrician said that he did not have a cleft pallet. We would have stopped breastfeeding after only a month if it weren't for finding Sweet Songs. I worked with Mary and she has been so SO helpful- even after we moved away and she helped me find a local IBCLC. She was always available (usually answering emails on weekends which was more than I expected!) and that was so important for me as a new mom. I had been home from the hospital for just 2 nights, and my baby was underweight and wouldn't eat. I found Trish and she immediately came out to my house (on a Sunday, no less!) and helped us through. She came up with an action plan and followed up on me regularly.
