When we lived in Waterbury, Sweet Maria and Eddie lived across the street... and we lived for any occasion for which we could buy one of Maria's sweets. Often we'd just get stuff for us: cookies, a cake. As I recall, we also gifted folks. Do yourself a gustatory, visual and personal favor; go to Sweet Maria's and get a little preview of heaven.
