I love this place. I’ve never had a bad treat or experience there. The counter help has been friendly and helpful, so much so that the line can get a little long but then they go into service mode and get that line moving. I usually grab a slice of tiramisu for my wife, cake for the kiddo, and eclairs or chocolate caramel torte for me. I try to grab a few petit fours for the drive home (I live in Dallas OR). Amazing desserts and friendly staff. The red velvet cupcake was to die for.
The treats usually average 4 stars, but I bought a cake that turned out to be too dry and somewhat disappointed everyone at the birthday party. I have ordered tasty slices over the years. I like their moist sponge cakes. I've never had a problem with their cheesecakes. I used to go there every month or two, but now it is once or twice a year. The service ranges from 3 to 5 stars. Love the selection here, as I have a HUGE sweet tooth. I make sure to stop by and grab a slice of tiramisu when I'm in town from Portland. Today I decided on a whole tiramisu cake to take back with me to my hotel to snack on. When I opened the box, the ladyfingers were so soggy I could squeeze liquid from them, as well as the liquid seeping through the box. Never mind trying to eat it as it was all mush. Very disappointing from my favorite sweet spot. Not sure if I'll go back.
