The cake was absolutely inedible! It was so dry and had an awful taste! Then when we mentioned it to the store, they blamed us for incorrectly serving it! Very unprofessional all around! Do NOT recommend at all!

We ordered some of their take home and decorate cookies for Halloween, and it was such fun! The cookies were absolutely delicious, some of my favorites, and decorating them with the gal I babysit was a blast. Aside from that, the brownies are otherworldly, I could eat cake trash for the rest of my life, and don't get me started on the bread! Their customer service is excellent, too. If you have a special occasion you need something sweet for, Sweet Designs is the place!
We live in Wichita but our family is in Joplin so we decided to have our daughters FIRST bday there with all her cousins and other extended family members. Trying to schedule a party in a town where you don’t know any of the local shops or venues is extremely stressful. I had called multiple bakeries in Joplin, but I didn’t get the customer service like I did with Eric at Sweet Designs! My daughters cake was extremely dry and the colors were not correct. Not impressed for paying $70.
Made our peacock-themed wedding cake along with gorgeous birthday cakes over the years. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Despite the concerns surround the COVID-19 epidemic, Sweet Designs had the cake I ordered ready and looked immaculate. I was absolutely thrilled with it. As a longtime customer of Sweet Designs, I am now (officially) a lifetime customer!
Not happy with my cake... No one could eat it, my daughter was very disappointed! Beautiful cake terrible, terrible taste!
