I have a 2019 Volvo XC60t8. I been going to Swedish Volvo Care for about 5 years. Recently I reached out to Walter regarding a check engine light. Over the phone Walter listened and guided me that this probably would be a dealer warranty issue. When I asked for advice, should I spend money on a car that has 108K miles he sighed, shook his head no and then made 2 Volvo suggestions to replace my current Volvo and gave me the reasons why. Walter and his staff provide kind, timely, professional auto care. Highly recommend.
Reasonable hourly rate and very helpful regarding a pre-purchase inspection. I may have found my new Volvo mechanic.
I don't like to give bad ratings to small local businesses, however I decided to share my experience with Walter and Swedish Volvo Care to warn others. After a $250 inspection they suggested a $300 fix (that didn't help) and then they suggested another $2000 repair. Before signing for it, I've verified this with 3 other independent mechanics and each one of them agreed that this repair is a totally unnecessary money drain.
