Extremely disappointing experience. I called about my husband’s severe back issues and was told the clinic only accepts patients by referral. I explained that he doesn’t currently have a primary care provider and politely asked if they could recommend what steps we should take instead. Rather than offering any guidance, the staff member repeated the same line and then when I went to ask again if she had any recommendations on what else we could do, she hung up on me mid-sentence. Very knowledgeable and caring.
I question why Kobiyashi chose medicine as a career. Compassion wasn't shown to me. He said, "I don't do necks. Get a referral from your PCP!" I shared I had paresthesia in my lower leg. His response was, "It's not bad enough. Just deal with it." He also voiced why he didn't agree with the radiologists interpretation. I'm a retired P M & R nurse. I was extremely disappointed in this provider.
I like Dr.Kobayashi. I have been seeing him for neck issues. He takes time to understand the issue, doesn't rush to suggest an invasive solution, discusses options and helps us decide how we want to proceed. While my chronic neck issue is not fully resolved, it is making progress and I am comfortable that Dr.Kobayashi is my best option. Only negative is that it is hard get an appointment and the appointment has been rescheduled a couple of times.
I was scheduled and told to come at 10am. Waited two months for the appointment. I was running late because the parking lot was so full and I was having a hard time finding parking. I called them to let them know I’m five minutes behind and They said ok. When I arrived they said oh I’m sorry you’re late 5 minutes , the doctor can’t see you now as Im late and I didn’t complete my paperwork.
