To whom it may concern, I went to Swedish Hospitalin Edmonds WA for a CT of my kidneys and my lungs. I was told to be there 1 and a half hours early, After waitingI finally was called by the CT Tech, He took me back and put my IV in for the contrast, I was then taken to the CT machine fully dressed. They did my CT of my lungs first, I had an underwire bra and necklace, and earrings. The imaging isn’t even billed by Swedish—it’s handled by a separate company. That might not sound like a big deal, but it becomes one when you end up with $10,000+ in ER bills spread across five different companies that don’t fall under Swedish’s charity care program. Patients are left with separate bills from entities that aren’t held to the same standards or financial-assistance rules as the hospital that sent them there. A prime example of a broken health care system.
Called at 420pm I sat on hold for 40 mins and just hung up. Super frustrating!
Just had a brain MRI today with Brad. He was incredibly professional and really amazing at putting me at ease. I had a lot of anxiety and he really helped making it comfortable. Also, he gave me maybe the easiest, painless IV I have ever had. Thank you so much Brad!!
An urgent ultrasound was ordered at approx. 4pm by urgent care doctor. Although this office is open till 6pm, no one answered the phone from 4-6pm. Left message, no call bk. When I contacted the next day, date given was September. 2nd. Today's date is 8/12, really!!! No attention to urgency or staffing. Don't waste your time, go to providence Everett.
