My Daughter had a stroke in April and was treated at Swedish Cherry Hill Hospital. I have nothing but praise for the hospital. Everyone we interacted with was professional upbeat and helpful. During such a stressful time, I could not have asked for anything more. Kudos to the Hospital and all its personnel (Drs. Nurses, OT, PT, SP, and CNA’s). Had heart surgery recovery here. Quality of care is only fair depending on who's on shift. Once was wheelchaired to basement for x-rays, and abandoned there. Basement is part of the old structure, very cold and dank. All check ins are made at the South end of the hospital only. However many of the doctors seem to be competent, but some of the help seem questionable.
I received exceptional medical care from the physicians and nursing staff. I am profoundly grateful.
ER experience on 03/26/25 was really bad. Doctor (or was it not even a doctor) barely looked at me from the distance. Ordered proper tests, but did not care to pay more attention why my knee scrape wasn’t healing, etc even blood tests were normal. Didn’t even check why my foot is hurting since there was no fracture. Nurse was pleasant, but so new and not young to have no idea how to wrap my knee with cloth bandage. Any Girl Scout knows it. And so much more unprofessional things. I still have a lot of recovery ahead of me post lumbar spinal fusion, but during my inpatient time at Swedish Cherry Hill immediately following the surgery I was very well cared for. My nurses, Ryan and Loren, were great and the nurse assistants were very helpful and friendly. Everyone involved in my care was so nice and I was lucky to have them all helping me. Thank you healthcare workers for doing such a great job getting me started on my recovery!
