My daughter had an appointment for an IUD removal and a new insertion over winter break. It was a very traumatic experience to say the least. They had difficulty with removal (Mirena), so much that they brought in a midwife and another doctor to assist. They gave her NOTHING to manage the pain. They also told her that she might need to go into ER surgery if they were unable to extract the IUD. This was barbaric. DO BETTER!! Discuss pain management first with a provider. Walk away if they don't take it seriously.
Got lost (clinic address from MyChart takes you to a completely different building). By the time I turned back and got close to the actual building (had to search provider name), called front desk to verify and told them I’m in the garage. Checked in online and pressed ‘I’m here’ option [this should have skipped reception checkin and they call you back when the room is ready!]. So I checked physical in at 9mins past start time. Elizabeth Chase NP was extremely informative and helpful. She made me feel very comfortable with being able to answer all my questions and concerns.
Everyone at this location is so nice, professional, and very quick to respond and handle things. I would recommend all my family members and friends to make appts w/ Swedish!!!
