The hospital staff were excellent. I was in and out in almost 2 hours. They were saying it could be 3 but everything was on schedule and such great service. Thank you all for making me feel very relaxed and making my throat and stomach scope good.h
I have had many endoscopies at this facility and always receive excellent care. Recently, I had 2 procedures in 6 days and both times treated with care and compassion. Nurses Rani, Alex and Sarah were exceptional in caring for me, going above and beyond to make my experience as comfortable as possible. The anesthesiologists and technicians were excellent as well. I have found the whole team to be professional, kind and compassionate.
I took a day off work today to accompany my girlfriend for a procedure requiring anesthesia, to be her driver home. Swedish called her early that day, asking us to rush to their facility, because of a cancelation before my girlfriend's. After arriving, we waited 90 minutes before she was finally called. Paperwork given when we checked in instructed me to be ready for my girlfriend being "tired, forgetful, and with impaired judgment" before "sedation". I had been preparing myself for my colonscopy procedure with meditation for days leading up to the day of, because to say I was very nervous is an understatement. From the start being admitted by Daniel I experienced a great deal of care, empathy and professionalism. Both Dr.s' Nicolas Procaccini and Erin Bushell were thorough in their explaining and allayed my fears regarding the procedure. Terrible service. Watched nurses eat candy in front of our room, watched nurses mess up the iv in my father, questioning whether or not the IV was usable. Their procedure timetable was COMPLETELY inaccurate. They said pre-op wait was 90 minutes and our wait was beyond 2 hours. Would have love to have accurate time represented and for my father to have been treated better.
