In and out in 20 minutes. Went on a Saturday at 10am. Entrance is in the emergency room building. Check in at reception, they will tell you where to go.
They never answer their phone so you can’t make an appointment.
I have been to this lab about 10-12 times in the past 3 years. This lab is great. My fave option for lab draws. I choose to go to this lab over the lab in my doctors office because of the consistently excellent care. The phlebotomists have all been great - friendly and skilled at what they do (single poke every time except once, and some pokes have been virtually painless — not sure how that happens but true!). The lab has convenient hours — open early and close late so you can go before or after work, and Open on Saturdays.... read more
On call hold, being second in the line since, 2 consecutive calls both 45 mins in length ie total of 1.5 hours. Either there is someone in queue before me who really has a 2 hour + ongoing medical call going-on or no one at the lab wants to pick up an patient incoming call.
Came in for a blood draw. The technician immediately starts attempting to take blood. I watch in horror as my blood splatters all over my arm and the arm rest of the chair. In all of my time at doctors offices for blood draws, and even for blood donations, I have never ever had this level of incompetence for a blood draw. I was poked multiple times to get 1 vial of blood. Then, to top it all off, it turns out the tech did not even bother to read my chart to understand what they were supposed to do for the session.
