I came in for my first ever mammogram and really didn’t know exactly what to expect for my first time. I was in and out in approximately 30 mins (including check-in and waiting room). Pauline is a pro please give her my praises. Tips for parking: there is a garage and tons of parking on the outside of the garage near the fence if you need.
From my experience I was kind of worried to go in after I found a lump after reading these reviews. But I found my experience extremely great. They explained everything. We're very gentle as possible during a mammogram. I had to return for a biopsy today and they answer all my questions and were just a really great caring staff.
It's extremely hard to get a mammogram here apparently if you are poor and do not have good insurance. The receptionist was rude and making it difficult to even book the appointment. She said *You seen mad" I replied"I thought you wanted to save lives" it should not be that difficult and it makes it hard for those on the spectrum to even book an appointment. Next time I'll just get cancer instead of dealing with the rude mammogram receptionist.
So disappointed. When I called to make an appointment, I asked if they take my insurance and they assured me they did. I just got a bill for my mammogram and ultrasound, and told me they do not take my insurance. Then the customer service lady talked over me again and again when I called. What a terrible place!
First time mammogram and it did not go well. I don’t like being touched so I was already very uncomfortable with all of this. The only thing the girl said to me after I got into the room is “is this your first mammogram?” I said “yes” and she proceeded to physically manipulate my body without saying much besides “put your hand here” then she would physically push me in one way or another without asking or explaining what was going on.
