Had the misfortune of twice being sent Swat by American HomeShield. Recently a leaking kitchen sink was also blocked. Swat attempted to unblock and we’re very aggressive resulting in two glass items being broken. Of course they denied responsibility. They said I needed to run a camera down the pipe to diagnose the issue at an initial extra cost of over $300. I declined and called another plumber who solved the problem without issue. I called just to get a simple estimate for running a camera on a slow drain shower issue. They refused to give any numbers unless they came out and wanted $100 just to step through the door. That’s nothing but a money grab. Zero transparency, zero customer service. I didn’t waste my time and I’ll take my business elsewhere. Don’t waste yours either.
